She Said “Hell Yes’"
This proposal wasn’t your typical romantic beachside moment – it was a rollercoaster of chaos, quick thinking, and trust. The plan was simple: a dreamy getaway to Los Cabos, ending with an unforgettable proposal on the beach at sunset. What could go wrong? Apparently, everything.
The day of their photo session, which she thought was just a fancy dinner, the ocean decided to go wild. The tide was so high that the hotel staff refused to let us near the beach. Imagine traveling all that way for a beach proposal only to hear, “Nope, not happening.”
While she was calmly getting ready, clueless about what was actually coming, he and I were texting frantically. “Where do we do this now?!” “What if it doesn’t work?” The nerves were through the roof.
Time was ticking, and they were already on their way to meet me. I sprinted through the hotel and found a stunning spot where the golden sunlight hit perfectly. I texted him: “Trust me. Meet me here.” He did.
But, of course, nothing goes smoothly. Just as I thought we had it all under control, a random guy sat on the exact bench behind our perfect spot – one minute before they arrived. Cue me, waving like a madwoman, trying to get him to move. He stared, completely confused. I panicked. Was this going to fall apart at the last second?
But trust saved the day. He trusted me, I trusted the moment, and when she walked in, everything was perfect. He got down on one knee, popped the question, and she said, “Hell Yes!”
We captured some incredible photos of that moment, but I knew how much those dreamy beach shots meant to them. So, I suggested a solution to him—why not finish the second half of their session the next day, this time by the ocean? They loved the idea and were so grateful. The following day, with the waves gentler and the beach all to ourselves, they finally got the perfect seaside photos they had dreamed of. It was the perfect ending to their whirlwind proposal adventure, and I couldn’t have been happier to document it all.
What started as a potential disaster turned into a beautiful, hilarious memory – proof that even the craziest moments can lead to the happiest endings.
